Use & Care Guide

Spirited Lights are very easy to take care of.

Treat it with the same care as any other electric appliance.  Once unplugged you may clean it with a damp cloth.  (It is coated with acrylic to help it resist water.)  The grapes and or decorations can usually be removed for cleaning as well.  If one lamp burns out the others will stay lit.  The corks are not made to be pulled out since they are helping to hold the lights but they may be cleaned easily enough without removing them.  If you ever decide to replace the lights or some of the bulbs, carefully pull out the cork or stopper, loosen the wire holding the lights, (be careful since end of wire is sharp) and pull the lights out of the hole on the back of the lamp.  They come out fairly easily.  I don't recommend sets larger than 20 - 35 for most bottles.  If you are concerned about how warm they get, mine stay plugged in for long periods of time and get warm but not hot.  Reinsert them when done and then reattach to the cork or stopper.  Recently, shrink tops have been added instead of wine stoppers.  This way you can choose one at a later date that can match your decor if you wish.  To replace a shrink top, pull the tab that is on the shrink top (just like a new bottle of wine.)  You can leave the part that is on the side of the bottle if you wish, then remove only the cork insert.  The rest is the same as for a wine stopper.

Wee Baby Lights are made just like the Spirited Lights as are the De"light"ful Blocks.  The lights in the blocks can just be pulled out and replaced with ease.  Just move the block as you are doing it so they will fill up the space.
